Bunbury Visitor Centre

Went to centre to check on river fishing. Ladies looked at us and said “why would anyone want to do river fishing”. Asked name of large river north of Bunbury and any info/maps etc both didn’t know Colli river! Then gave us a lecture advising we should be sea fishing and that rivers ran into the sea so better we did that. Explained we wanted river fishing, they thought better get a boat (we have kayak) attitude very judgmental on our choice of recreation. Went into town to local fishing tackle shop. Gentlemen in shop couldn’t believe our experience. Gets many people fishing locally in rivers around area!!! Terrible service for Bunbury tourism.

well didnt go inside but the bus station and building needs a revamp but stil good place

Great information given got a permit to stay in freecamp by the ocean & see the fireworks Australia day weekend
