All Sports Shopping Village

Good bunch of businesses together in one place with huge parking.

The New Lanka and Indian at All Sports, Jindalee offers the most authentic Sri Lankan food I have eaten in a while. Choosing from the extensive menu is a problem, with so many traditional foods available. Pictured is an egg hopper, a part crisp, part crumpet-like pancake, eaten with curry. We were also well satisfied with other Lankan and Indian foods, chosen on two delicious visits.nI did notice people struggle to navigate the menu and settle for standard rice and curry when they were obviously curious, asking about unfamiliar, regional options. Really good pictures on the wall had no accompanying description. Perhaps a separate, descriptive menu with pictures of the traditional, lesser known foods might help more curious and adventurous diners? Wish this restaurant all the best!

Handy for chemist pathology and take a ways. All sports and Bounce physio parking is good

This shopping village is really quite convenient but suitable really for a few services and food. It doesn't have any large mainstream food stores.nnIt islocated opposite the Jindalee Bowls Club and gets it's name from previously named All Sports gymnasium which now has newer owners and has been renamed.....but the old name still remains.nThe centre features services such as Centenary real estate, Bywater Medical Doctors, Pathology collection, a Pharmacy, hairdresser and a Thai massage spa.nMost of the other shops are for food /meals. There is a Pizza Capers, a sushi takeaway, Mexican and Indian. The seafood fish and chip shop has gone since Covid and the building currently remains awaiting a new lessee.nnOn the front roadside of the area is a bistro which has had about four incarnations in the last couple of years. Currently a French Vietnamese mix called La Bonne Saigon.nThe centre area is all car park and you can always get a car park space if visiting any of the services or food shops at the shopping village. Very convenient. There is also a Australia Post mail box and a car park for commuters for the bus route to the city and Centenary Suburbs. Pity there's not a coffee and ice cream shop for a relaxed mid afternoon break... sadly lacking.
