Italian Street Kitchen

Visited on a quiet Monday afternoon, being the only ones seated in the restaurant. Great customer service right from stepping inside!nnOrdered at the counter a large garlic prawns spaghetti, regular gnocchi and beef meatballs as an entree. For the price, the serving sizes of the meals were accurate - I was definitely satisfied with a ‘regular’ serve. Meatballs were on the pricier side for a few bites, but oh my god they were good and would definitely order a larger size if I could. Gnocchi was simple but tasted delicious, soft and authentic. Spaghetti didn’t have a strong flavour, so wasn’t a winner in our eyes.nnOverall I really enjoyed this place! Don’t be fooled by the name ‘street kitchen’ it’s casual dining but the quality and price reflects that of any Italian restaurant in Brisbane. Would definitely visit again!

Had the fried gnocchi, gusto pizza, and basic pasta. Fried gnocchi was alright, though not as good as I expected. Gusto pizza was great! Loved it! The basic pasta was average, a bit better than the average bottle pasta sauce.

This is a great little italian restaurant where the front of house staff are pleasant and cheerful, helpful and accommodating. The decor is tasteful and their food is top notch. Their prices are very generous as well. I think I'll be coming back here when I'm next in Newstead.

Food is amazing. Service not so good, restaurant busy but not packed. Need more staff or more efficient staff. Worth visiting for the food though!
