Nungarin Heritage Machinery and Army Museum

This place is amazing. Well worth a visit. $5 entry. The history of the Army base, it's building and machinery etc. Love the tailoring the wicker baskets to protect the live shells. Make a great wine rack now lol.

This is amazing for those who love old things. Household, agricultural, war and so much more. Allow time. Beautifully housed. Nungarin has a gem....don't miss it!

This place is amazing, awesome catalogue of both wartime and rural machinery, kids are actually able to play in the tanks and trucks. On Sunday morning you can go and get breakfast for 10 bucks!! Bacon, eggs, sausage, beans and toast, coffee, tea and Milo.

Honestly one of the best military and local history museums you will ever visit. Well worth the low entry fee. Staff wonderful, being both friendly and engaging, without being pushy. Everything, both in the huge shed and the yard, is on one level, so it is all accessible by wheelchair. Ample parking in the yard. Be sure to check the WW2-era Nungarin map in the entry room as there is literally items of interest in every area. Highly recommended.
