Come on China tourists, come to Quairading

The Pink Lake of Quairading is an interesting location. The Lake turns pink in colour when it dries up during certain times of the year. It is also a very good place for stargazing with the only major light pollution source coming from Perth, over 200km away.

From Yorktown to the place where the surf stones are, it’s a special stop here.

Pink Lake was not pink at all. It was more like Rust Lake. Although it may be the color of the water depends on the time of year. It’s definitely not necessary to go specifically. But you can call on the road from Perth to Wave Rock.
