The upgraded Monkey Mia resort is nothing short of spectacular. The attention to detail is exceptional and just about every consideration for campers/holidaymakers alike have been made. The facilities are top-notch, as are the restaurants/bar, pool and other amenities. There are no 'cut corners' with staffing and all hands are on deck in the restaurants, grounds/maintenance, cleaning and others. In terms of the natural surroundings, the beach and ocean are pristine and perfect. We visited in November which marks the beginning of the notorious Shark Bay winds and felt that Monkey Mia was far better protected than the rest of the region. Despite all this, Monkey Mia and the 'dolphin feeding' experience continues to elicit a diverse range of responses from holidaymakers. I feel that if your sole reason for visiting Shark Bay/Monkey Mia is to experience the dolphin feeding you're more likely to be disappointed. We stayed at the resort for 4 nights and throughout this time we had the dolphins swim alongside us on our morning beach walks, and when swimming and kayaking. We never bothered with the feeding. I recommend anyone making the long voyage up to spend a few days just soaking in the resort and exploring the Shark Bay region - it truly is a natural diverse wonderland.

Worth the visit just for the view

Beautiful spot on in the world, the whole dolphin experience is cool but a bit over rated. Still $15 to spend the day there and be able to use all the amenities is questionable. Worth a look better to stay a couple days and relax...

Loved swimming with the sting rays. not happy you have to pay $15 everytime you enter the park. Pay $25 and it last for a month where u can enter as many times as you like. Be warned go about 7.15am in the to line up to see the dolphins.
