I previously contacted the Onkaparinga council to ask if they could just run the street sweeper up and down our new road, off Wickham Road.
Knowing this to be a private road I realise they may not agree.
I thought they may help us out simply for pride in their suburb! BUT NO!
19 houses are in this private road, about 100 meters long, and the council are collecting approximately $33,364 per year rates and taxes.
ARE WE NOT ENTITLED TO CLEAN ROADS?
Kevin from Onkaparinga Council was excellent in regards to cleaning up the council verge on my street. I also think highly of Onkaparinga Council . Every time I have called with a question or query . Every one has been professional and courteous.
The worst council with the biggest district. USELESS
Sent an email 4 days ago, no reply, pathetic.
