$12 for all day parking close to Salamanca markets. Very expensive for Hobart and the ticket attendant demands cash on entry.nIf you're staying for just an hour find a spot on the road for a few dollars. Or the other parking locations nearby.

Absolutely criminal price for parking in Hobart. 12 dollars for an exposed parking space in this quiet city, please. The ticket officer was also not helpful and demanded cash payment at entry. Do not recommend, there are better places to park but we were desperate for a spot close to the Salamanca Market.
