Florence Falls Waterhole

Wow! Love this place. 130+ steps to get down to the plunge hole and falls, but certainly worth it. The stairs seem new. It's actually not a hard walk back up at all. The water is superb, fresh, and clean. Wasn't crowded the day I went (green/wet season). Not many places to leave you belongings once you arrive.

It was well worth the long drive and the walk down steep steps. Beautiful clear water, could see lots of fish swimming around. My husband had a fish bite him on his toe whilst he was sitting out for awhile wading his feet in 😊Scary watching young guys jumping from the top of the waterfalls! Lots of shaded area so it’s ideal to bring a picnic lunch or snack. Water temperature was moderate. Lots of parking spaces and public restrooms available.
