We stayed at Akoonah Caravan Park for 3 nights. For proximity to Melbourne the price is unbeatable! The amenities are the cleanest amenities we have seen in our travels yet and the caretakers are very friendly and helpful. There is a playground for the kids and you can watch the local footy in the weekends. If you want to explore the Peninsula or go on the Puffing Billy this is the perfect place to situate yourself.
Went to the Sunday market. It was fantastic. Great food, great stalls with lots of variety to buy different things. Plenty of food vans and stalls. Great plants to buy as well. My son loves the guy that sells the Pokemon cards.
Love going here. All the stall holders are always lovely and very welcoming. Food is always great too!
A fantastic campground in a fantastic location run by fantastic people! The manager’s, Des and Anne are friendly, accommodating and professional! The grounds and facilities are well kept, clean, tidy and beautiful! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Many thanks and can’t wait to come back again!
Always a fun place to visit, (especially without the husbandud83dude09). There are some unique stalls & other speciality vendors. Most are very helpful & friendly. I'm always on the lookout for something different & quite often will find it there.
