Big Buoy Water Park

Absolute joke. Wouldn’t even rate 1 star. Booked in January, cancelled on us and offered for us to come the next day. Messaged an hour before to confirm we were coming The next day and didn’t hear back. Still went down and the water park was half deflated and no one was there. We rang and messaged the the same day while waiting for someone to turn up and got nothing back. Have tried to message for a refund so many times and doesn’t reply. I’ve even left a message on the website. Just want our money back already. Not happy wouldn’t recommend!!

21.4.20- Out of pocket by $924. It is great when you can get on (but don't pay until you are there in person). I have been on 2 group bookings previously, and owner was great, children had a blast. But, on 28th Aug 2019, I made a group booking for 56 and you sent invoice on the day. Paid for 56 in Sept. Booking for 11th Oct. Rang prior to arrival. No one there. No return of calls, no return of phone message, no response to messenger message. Stayed for 1.5 hours waiting. Spent $300 on a bus to get there and back. 14.10.19 emailed for refund. 29.10.19 received phone message for refund and an offer of 100 free passes (never received). Emailed again 11.11.19 & 20.12.19, Consumer Affairs have sent letters and tried to contact you from 6.2.2020. As of 21.4.20, you have not replied to anything from myself or Consumer Affairs, other than the promise of 100 passes via text. To have to tell 56 children that they can't do the event (that was arranged a month prior to the paid booking) was hard enough, but then I had to refund all the parents to. It's been over 7.5 months now.nEveryone - do not do online booking, or pay up [email protected] - you need to fix this.

We had a blast. My 10 year old went back for seconds the following day. The Gent running the show is a great bloke. He looks out for the kids to ensure safety and provides a barrel of entertainment along the way always having a laugh. Genuine happy atmosphere.nnOh and he even dived to fetch my watch which I lost on the previous day. Couldn’t ask for more.

The owner means well but he should consider familiarising himself with basic physics and human relations. Asked if more than 2 people could launch one person (received a condescending 'No' in short) considering that some people weigh more than others and therefore require heavier people to receive the same amount of propulsion from the pillow. If you do decide to go and want to really fly, bring at least two of your biggest friends... That's the best you'll get as a larger smarter adult.

Be careful as I paid for this on Thursday x4people an no one showed up my boys deverstated. An still don't get a response on my refund. Would not recommend any one pay booking. Would just pay on the day as you will loose out of pocket if ya do. With no response.
