My experiences with Derek from James Thredgold Jewellers was amazing. My eternity ring was designed and manufactured by Derek. He worked with me through the design process and listened to what I wanted. The result is stunning! It is the most beautiful ring and I love that I can admire it everyday. An absolute joy to deal with! Derek was exceptional, working with my wife and I to come up with a couple of unique pieces of jewellery that were exactly what we wanted. The workmanship was incredible and the final result is something that we will cherish and our children's children will enjoy long after we are gone.

I have been searching for a specific Tag Heuer Ladies Watch and after countless trips in and out of Jewelers around Adelaide, and numerous online searches, i was made aware that the watch i have been looking for was available through James Thredgold Jewellers. I really wanted to purchase my new watch through a physical store and support a local supplier during testing and trying times (Covid-19), and not online.nnI walked into The Parade Store on Saturday 27th Sept after being advised it was available for purchase in store at this location (noted as being available online and in store on website). As myself and my family entered shop (Myself, My partner and my 2 daughters) we were greeted by a gentleman, who had a friendly smile and nice demeanor. This gentleman advised us that a Customer Service Rep would assist us soon.nnA young lady soon approached us and within seconds i felt like i wasn't going to be taken seriously. Her customer service skills lacked any genuine rapport and i felt like my excitement and specific request was inconveniencing her.nnAfter a vague discussion, it was established, that the watch wasn't available in store and that the young lady would send an email to see if it was available from the supplier.nnMy contact details were exchanged and i was advised i would be contacted Monday 28th Sept to discuss the transaction further. I was also provided a receipt of this transaction and again assured i would be contacted Monday to discuss.nnTo date - no contact has been made with me from any representative of James Thredgold Jewelers.nnDue to the lack of care in the initial conversation with the Customer Service Rep in store, the lack of follow up (even just a call to just let me know that an email had been sent to the supplier on my behalf) and feeling i experienced in store, that i wasn't important enough, i have now purchased my watch online and have paid the extra (more then what i would have paid in store) for it to be expressed shipped to me.nnIts disappointing that i could not purchase my watch in store, and support a local supplier, however more disappointing that it appears as if i have been taken as a joke and not considered serious enough to even be worth a follow up call.

From start to finish I was thrilled with the service and advice of the staff at James Thredgold. Derek and the team helped me through the process of creating a unique ring for my wife. They went above and beyond to make sure that my expectations were exceeded.
