Horrible car selling experience. Bought the car from this place at 7700 dollars. A year later of use and it is sold for 3500. I don't have a problem with that because I know car dealers have to make a lot of money. I negotiated to 3700 anyway. I handed over the car on Friday morning and went overseas. They promised to transfer the money on Monday. Money is not in for the whole week until next Friday I decided to contact (which was not easy to do). Went into customer service and emailed them with no reply. Went to the chat on website and got machine like responses from the people manning the chat. I asked them to help me look at this case but they just said that I need to contact the consultant directly. I tried but my phone did not work overseas. But finally got a Skype set up and was able to call. I pushed them to transfer and money finally came. But it was only 3500. Feels like I have been cheated. Still not getting another 200 at this time of the review and I have informed them already. Carmart has the same owner or in the same group of cooperate structure as the Motors group that sell Hyundai and the other brands at the sea front on the highway. So I would advice not giving them business at any of these places as well.

After buying a vehicle from the Car Mart Burnie, it broke down 5 minutes along the highway outside of Burnie. While trying to contact the Car Mart, we were told that we could not collect the cash we had just paid for the vehicle because they close at 5.30pm and were going home. We are now waiting for a tow truck for (3 hours currently) while NO ONE is answering our phone calls in relation to where the tow truck is. Take into consideration we live in HOBART and are currently sitting on the side of the highway 4 hours away from home at 7.30pm as I write this. Do not buy from the Car Mart. (The vehicle does have warranty and the Car Mart has the responsibility as written in a signed agreement that if anything in 4-6 weeks were to occur the issue would be reprimanded).
