Last train home from the Domestic Flights Station. Train stopped for ages and delayed at the International Station. Consequently missed my connecting bus from Roma Street in the city. Solo female in the city trying to organise a bus home, late at night.
Train staff member tried to organise me a free taxi due to my missing my connecting bus. Was told it was not possible.
Avoid the last train, get a taxi from the airport. Not worth saving the money or tolerating the traffic delays.
I have never seen such rude staff
before at any other qld railway stations.
2 people from Bris to the GC $70.40, what a fleecing. Never again.
I'm traveling to Mt Isa next week. Air train price is $43.80 return from Toowong station. That's for travel outside of peak hours on a Friday and Monday. Absolutely pathetic. Prices have gone up. Must say I'm bemused by the responses of the owner here. Takes some serious chutzpah to argue that such prices are somehow not a rip-off or in line with services in other cities... they ain't. I'll be taking an uber!
