Straddie Ferries is fantastic. Book online drive through line up and on you go. Can't be simpler than that. You don't even have to get out of your car. Quick trip across Morton Bay and drive off. I think it's a reasonable price for a return trip as well. North Stradbroke Island is a real treasure.

Fast and easy boat ride across the water but its a pity that people have to go out of their way to make it hard for themselves. 3 cars parked against the grain in the free carport. Too bad they left enough room for us to park otherwise there was a guy in a 4x4 looking at the same spot but from the opposite end.
