Dinner with a friend. Waiting staff were excellent, polite and attentive. Prices are a little higher than the norm but the quality of food was close. Unfortunately the sauce in the lamb dish was very salty. Our waitress said she would advise the chef. On our way out we mentioned it to the front of house who replied with 'oh, but I like it salty'. Not an impressive response. Still, would return.

We had a lovely staff dinner at Elkamo. The food we shared was delicious and we loved the wines. Nice surroundings and great wait staff. Thanks for a great night!

We have eaten at the restaurant previously and always found it to be ok. We enjoyed the meal and our waiter was nice and efficient.nOur only real issue was the price, which is a bit on the high side (Mark up River) pricing. We did not order the main courses but I did see them being served to customers. I would of been disappointed if I had paid for what was on the plate.nDue to this we probably won’t be back

Fake Reviews by owners and friends of owners. Owner also posts jobs that are way below minimum legal pay, one of which is $22k below per annum. (probably more if they work on weekends or exceed 38 hours a week) and that not also factoring unpaid superannuation contributions.nnOperators like these end up hurting honest and hardworking hospitality operators who can't compete against dodgy employers with an unfair and illegal advantage.nnTo help out hospitality workers and honest, hardworking operators you should avoid supporting those who actively and intentionally exploit their staff.
