Jigoro

Delicious diverse menu and drinks. Staff are warm, friendly and attentive. I am not an Izakaya expert but Jigoro is a true Japanese experience. It makes me want to visit Japan again! ありがとございはした

Its such an authentic-feeling experience! It's hidden in a corner, down a alley. The food is, fantastic. The way you order it? Such an experience. This place.js great.

Very authentic Japanese izakaya experience, tucked away down Murray Street. Excellent selection of food, the eight dishes we tried were all delicious. The drinks selection is great with fresh beer on tap and allot of different types of sake to try. The ambience inside at night is very cosy and the service was fantastic, all the staff are super friendly. If you are planning to eat here on a weekend I would definitely recommend reserving a table to avoid missing out or you may have to wait outside for a table to become available.

Arrived at the wrong time with booking. Our fault- but just told to put our name on the booking list- wasn't told it would be well over an hour. Just something to consider as its poor customer service.

As per usual the quality of the food and service here just keeps climbing. No better authentic Japanese food or experience to be had in the city! Amazing!
