Impeccable service! When the walk we were planning on doing was flooded they took the time to find us alternative walks in the area. The cider tastings were delicious and the food was great, would highly recommend a visit!

The cider was good but we came in for food and no-where online was advertised that kitchen closes at 2. We understand its weekday and quiet but if you advertise that you are open till 4pm, then you should stay open till then. Otherwise that false advertisement....

We stopped by mid afternoon for a cider tasting and were welcomed in, despite the place being pretty full. John took the time to give a little description of all the ciders we were trying, the friendly service was appreciated. I think the previous reviews are a little unfair and people should take into account that most country kitchens close early and that bookings for lunch are essential.

Very pleasant place. Very friendly welcome. Our reserved table was in the small, quiet room when we arrived. The beers offered were a great discovery. The only downside was forgetting our order and the delay in serving the dishes ordered. However, we received a nice discount which is a nice gesture. In terms of the choice of dishes, a slightly more extensive menu would be a good thing. We will nevertheless return on a future visit to the region.

Poor service. Was provided some menu’s and asked to sit outside to make selections. Did that, returned inside and waited in line to be served. The lady with green coloured hair advised I couldn’t order without a table number and to go outside and obtain the number. Did that, and the table wasn’t numbered. Just wanted to order a nice lunch and a local brew - but too difficult so left. I won’t be back.....
