Walpa Lobby Bar

Good food, in a nice setting, good service at ok prices. Limited menu so you can easily run out of things to try but it was still our preferred venue for lunch.nnOur only recommended place for lunch if you are looking for a place to eat in the entire Ayers Rock resort.

Similar menu to the other bar/room service - food is nice and they make proper drinks at this bar. Waiting time during peak times can be up to 1 hour which is crazy but they tell you up front when you order so you can choose to go somewhere else etc in case you have a tour booking coming up.nOther than that, service is usually fast and staff are super friendly and helpful!

Waited nearly half an hour for our order to be taken after being seated, waited nearly an hour before drinks came out, and food only arrived after we finally asked someone to go and check what was happening. Had curry of the day (chicken korma), and Wagyu burger both of which were bitterly disappointing. On the plus side, the club sandwich was pretty good, though it was missing the addition of cheese (which was ordered). Would not recommend this venue if you want any kind of service, good food, or any type of timely delivery of your order.

A beer and glass of wine took 25 minutes to come out. Drinks sitting on the counter for 10+ minutes. I understand the place is completely understaffed given the circumstances but I chose to give this review when they got our wines wrong and a senior staff member audibly sighed and treated our table rudely for it. Your staff numbers and your mistakes are not our fault and we don’t deserve to be made to feel this way.

We ended up eating here a few times (due to other places being closed), the food was average and service very slow. The staff were friendly but need more training and some on the ball management.nnNot really recommended, but then if everywhere else is closed..
