Camel Soak

Spent a night there last month and was impressed with the camping area and the rock itself. Plenty of room to get away from caravans and great fire pits to keep you warm.

An interesting place to visit. Plenty of wildflowers and donkey orchards found. The water holes in the rock are interesting. Would go again.

Really loved the spot. If we didn't have a time commitment we would have stayed more than one night. Plenty of good, flat camping places. Great toilet block. We found lots of orchids - Lemon Scented Sun, Donkey, Laughing Leek (at least two variations), various spiders. Quiet, peaceful spot.

Nice area with one long drop toilet and lots of camping spots. Open fires are allowed from 1st of May until the 31st of Oktober. If you don't like lots of flies make sure to bring a net for over your hat!

Great camping spot and a great place to take a walk with your dog. Would be perfect in summer - bit cold at night but to be expected this time of year. Worth a look-see 😊
