Great school. Would highly recommend if you want your child to have an engaging and community feel to there schooling. Although there was a time where it was harsh for classroom space it is all fixed and now every class has its own room and the gym and OSCH are separate. Would highly recommend and love it there. The principle knows everyone’s name and you get an experience you cannot get at many other schools.

I started at St leonards in reception right through to year 7. St lennies provided the best years of my life. The teachers did an exceptional good job on teaching. The vibe of the whole school is friendly and i just loved it here. many good friendships were made and i got a great education. Strongly recommend.

I’m going to be completely honest here. Only go to this school if you have to. Here are the reasons why: They are very short on classrooms. They have put one in the gym, OSCH and the library. They put all the year 6 and 7’s in the same classroom which made a really bad working environment which many suffered from; fortunately it didn’t affect me too much. They were so desperate that the destroyed the aboriginal garden, designed to pay respects to the aboriginal people and put a demountable on it! There is now only guitar taught at this school, there’s one was keyboard and flute, but they had to leave as there was no space. No one in charge of the school did anything about it besides asking the teachers to stay at the school. Yes, they have stem classrooms, and yes the students have access to touchscreen laptops, but so do other schools. The school yard is also a very toxic environment with a big fight breaking once a month. The teachers don’t do anything about it unless something really bad is happening. I will admit, the uniform was great but other schools have great uniforms. Please take all of this information into consideration if you are wanting to send your children too this school.

I went to this school for a few years and it was the big ooft. Lots of kids say the n word and there is a lot of bullying that goes unnoticed by the teachers. I didn’t learn much here and found the work very easy, I didn’t try in many of my tasks. It does do a good job of setting you up for high school though so that is a bright side. Mr J. And Mrs Winter are the best teachers at this school by far and they do promote being creative. Have a good one you mad lads.

My daughter went there & now two of her 3 children are going there. The school is great! The music teachers are exceptional!! My grandson is learning piano & guitar and my granddaughter is also learning piano. My grandson is now playing volleyball & soccer as well. Their teachers are doing a wonderful job & the facilities are magnificent! When I was a member of the Parents & Friends Committee the local politicians did not support the new hall as they believed the area would not grow. Look at it now! I have attended Music Nights there over the last 2 years & it is such a wonderful feeling to be a part of!! Well done to the committees at St Leonards Primary School!! Well done to the teachers!!
