Surprise - fabulous, made in house, old- fashioned food and solid coffee, ; rare to get pastry and scones of this quality. Peppermint slice? Yes, it’s 1976- in a good way! Hand made, gorgeous.

Picked a chicken BLT which turned out to be a toasty. BLT sandwich should be on fresh good quality white bread, with lettuce and tomatoes also being fresh, bacon sizzling, chicken warm

Great coffee and food, good service, nice little place.

Coffee was OK, but sandwich was cut into 4 and the salad was too hard and very cold making it very difficult to eat with all the filling falling out.
