Captain Jack's fish and chips

Immaculately clean, friendly family-run place with good food and excellent value for money.nI really appreciate the above idea of asking for the fish to be fried extra crispy - I personally found the batter a little bit doughy and think the crispy request would work well.nREALLY good chips - will be back :)

Clean, cleanliness, flexible. We asked her to fry the fish until crispy. After a while she called us backside of the shop into the kitchen, to check if it had fried to the desired level. Not many people would do like this. Inside the kitchen, it was clean, oil was fresh (not brownish). We were impressed and decided to come back

Batter on thin piece of unknown fish was doughy and about an inch thick.nIts was not very enjoyable so picked fish out of batter and threw the batter away.nFish not so fresh. Not eat here again.

Best fish and chips I have had in years, price was right and the food was bloody good.

Been here three times now and each time everything was on point and absolutely delicious. Chips are perfect and so is all the seafood best in town! ud83dude4cud83cudffe
