Northpoint Toyota Gepps Cross

I had a service on Toyota Gepps Cross (because nothing better than Toyota to fix your "Toyota") on Friday 30/10/2020, I specifically mentioned that on the dashboard the engine and traction lights were on, "after 4 hours" my car was ready and on the report said car computer identified a lean mixture but nothing else was wrong ($500). On Sunday 1/11/2020, I had the same problem, I had to ask for a day off because I need my car to go to my workplace, they said the will have a look on the afternoon, they called me at 3:20pm saying they need more time to make sure the car is fine, so we agreed that my car will be ready next morning. They called me next day in the morning saying that they need more time and it will be $90 extra and the car will be ready on the afternoon. I did not receive any call on the afternoon, so I called and they say they need more time to check my car for further problems, so my car will be ready next morning 06/11/2020. They not even mentioned if I needed a car or even worried... so disappointed... 06/11/2020 I received my car at 11:45am, another $300 ! Total of $800 after 45 minutes of driving light turn on again! Less than 12 hours since they "fixed my car" I'm pretty sure they are milking my money.........11/11/2020 they changed my car sensor for a new one $700 extra, after 1 day same problem... worst situation I ever experienced... i was going to buy a new toyota next year... not anymore

We bought our Toyota taraco from here, it was the excellent deal we can ever get. More than that, customer care service was terrific. He took time and explained everything really well, rather than rushing.

I've been going there since their parts department moved from North East Road to Gepps X. Regularly went to NE Rd prior to this as well. As I do my own oil and fuel filter changes, I was perplexed when I purchased an oil filter recently. Why? Because when I looked in the box, the sump plug gasket wasn't in there. Every time I got one previously, they chucked the gasket in and for no charge. When I queeried this with the sales person I was informed that the gasket was separate and I would be charged for it. So I paid the $1.80 plus GST. I'm not fussed about the $1.80 + but was just wondering whether processes have changed or was I just fortunate to get a free gasket since 2009. Still confused. Ps, the customer service is always A1 ✔
