Always go for the pork dish here. Sauce is amazing and the potatoes are crunchy. Pork might be bit dry in certain parts of it, depends on how fatty the cut is.. The fattier the better always. But it's your luck! Scrambled eggs also yummy.

The last two visits to The Loose Caboose have been quite disappointing. A once excellent cafe have become too big for their boots. Last week they got my order wrong. Ordered two smoothies at $16, both tasted disgusting. My child threw hers in the bin. Today, I had a another poor experience with a staff member and wasn't even allowed to discuss with management. I asked to be seated elsewhere as I was cold. She said, the other tables were for groups of four so I could sit outside if I wanted. There were many tables inside Their food and service is sub-standard for the price point. I am now seated at Queen Street which is far superior to the offerings at The Loose Caboose. I suspect new management would be helpful. Real pity.

Hidden away in Bowden you will find a bustling train station but the people here aren’t waiting for a train but waiting to be served breakfast, brunch or lunch. I have been here a couple times now and have found the staff to be very friendly and attentive however catch them on a busy day like a Sunday and they are slightly flustered. The coffee is a bit hit and miss, on a quiet day the coffee is fantastic but on a busy day it is just ok, still drinkable but just not as enjoyable. The food has been fantastic any time and you walk in past the kitchen and it always smells amazing! Make sure you stop at this station but just don’t wait for a train otherwise you’ll be waiting a long time!!

Food and courtyard setting good, coffee good. Have been here a few times now and consistently good with coffee and food. Service can be variable and today wasn’t so friendly.

weirdest experience here, we got here at 2:40pm one winters saturday and they were about to close up shop, we insisted that online it's advertised as open til 3:00. reluctantly, staff made us 3 takeaway lattes. i got one of their baked goods. all was well but i haven't been back since because multiple staff really weren't happy that we rocked up when we did lol. coffee was nice though. and the cookie was good
