Kappy's Restaurant

I love Kappy's! The home-style Italian food is served on tables with red checkered cloths, and the service is always welcoming and prompt.nNoone in my family eats meat, so I frequently order steak when eating out. The beef fillet this night came with a flavoursome gravy and chopped vegetables. It was cooked somewhat beyond the medium I ordered. However, while we always enjoy our food at Kappy's, what we like best is the atmosphere. It's a bustling, lively kind of place that frequently - when we've attempted to make a reservation - is fully booked!

Just had a fantastic dinner there with 3 others. Nothing less than excellent across all entrees and mains... plus a decent Shiraz by the glass.nnTip: You need to book on Saturday nights. We were lucky and jagged a cancellation.

Had lunch at Kappy's today. Not worth the money. Very expensive and no flavour to the food. Did advise the waitress and apparently she let the chef know. Manager didn't care. I only had pasta mushrooms cream and so called herbs(which I think they forgot). How can you get this wrong. We weren't even offered parmesan cheese and it's an Italian restaurant. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else

Was very pleasantly surprised with this hidden Italian gem of a restaurant. Food absolutely delicious and served in very good time from ordering. Service very friendly and attentive. Made for a perfect evening, will be sure to recommend and of course will be back!! Thank you Kappys!!

Kappys is an awesome spot in Guildford for traditional Italian food. If you feel like dinner is taking a little while - don't worry - it's worth the wait. It just means the food is being prepared with love and attention.
