Wood Floor Warehouse

Overall I'm disappointed to say I'm underwhelmed with the job that's been done. From the point of sales it went great when we met with Steve and we were assured it would be a complete job from purchasing of supplies to installation. The only thing we asked to leave out was the skirting. After that it slowly went downhill as the floor installation contractor Matt told us someone else would be doing the job. We didn't want that as Steve said their contractors are great at what they do so we were concerned someone else would be doing the job. We gave the new guys the benefit of doubt. It started off great as they were laying the main area but towards the end it started to get confusing and concerning. They did not install any beading to the kitchen/island which is an area that was supposed to be covered. My own dad had to do this himself. The installer said he thinks they will be installed by the skirting guy which makes no sense because when we purchased the product from Steve it was made clear that we were doing the skirting but everything else was to be handled by Wood Floor Warehouse. When it came to the trims there was a bedroom that was forgotten completely which my dad had to again step in and complete for them. The most disappointing part was the stairs. I gave all schematically drawn plans of the stair case and still we had to fork out an additional $704 to the installers to get an architrave put on the sides. I'm not an expert but it would be assumed something like this would be accounted for if the customer has given plans of the staircase. I'm not happy being stuffed around with who is installing the floors, with my own dad having to complete the installation job and to pay an additional sum of $704 for staircase that should have been within the scope of the job as I had already given full plans to you. I definitely will not be forwarding customers as it was a bit of a nightmarish and costly experience.

Most informed business dealing i've had in quite a while. Owner has been in the industry all his life, knew everything about it and come across as honest and not pushy as well.

I could not even get engineered timber at the prices you managed to secure for us in solid wooden floors... and I rang a number of places before stumbling across you guys on facebook. I am so glad I did and you will always have my business ongoing when working with timber flooring. Your knowledge of timbers and clearly respect within the industry by how you could get trades in for us within a short time line showed we were in the right hands. I saw someone gave you a one star review on google, they must be soft in the head and it upset me so much I had to write one praising and supporting you guys.
