Gwelup Fish & Chips & Kebabs

The fish and chips from here were absolutely disgusting. I will never go back and do not recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately our usual fish and chip shop was not open.nThe fish was riddled with bones, the food was covered in a thick layer of horrible batter and the chips had been double cooked (cooked and then reheated by putting back into the hot oil) so they were burnt and gross. We had to throw the majority of our order away as it was so bad.

We’re fussy with fish & chips, and this place actually delivered tasty fish with crisp batter and fresh chips.

How disappointing! The chips were so over cooked they were dark brown & every bite was just OIL! Sickly! Lots of crispy burnt crumbs in the serving. When wrapping it up for the bin the outside paper was oil soaked.nThe fish was dry, chewy & a little grey looking inside.nPineapple Fritters were skinny & the Crab stick was the only thing we liked. I shared it ud83dude05.nBig waste of money & time. YUK!

We have been going to gwelup fish and chips for about 8 years the fish squid is fantastic thats what i like great size and very reliable and professional you wont be dissapointed

We decided to enjoy fish and chips watching the NRL with Storm and Panthers and went to our local Gwelup Fish and Chips. The Fish was absolutely excellent my 12 year old son is an expert on Fish and chips and he said it was the best ever. The fish were good sized portions cooked to perfection.nThe chips were well cooked and a good size serve. Have not been here for about 2 years but it was definitely worth going back.
