The Shorehouse

Great service from staff. They took extra care to ensure dietary needs were met. Our waiter couldn't do enough to help. Food was well priced and for the most part excellent. The pork was overcooked and on the dry side but everything else was great.

First ever visit to The Shorehouse and definitely won't be the last. Wonderful ambiance, with a beautiful setup.nFood and service was excellent. Had a little delay ordering a second coffees as turned extremely busy later in the morning. Get there early for ease of parking. Highly recommended.

Had the most lovely brekky here about a week ago. Had never heard of the Shore house before but have already recommended 4 times to friends and family! Judging off the reviews, this place has definitely improved in the last couple of years and I'm keen to keep going back for more :)

Great view but terrible for vegans or dairy free vegetarians and not great service. Went for lunch yesterday with friends and the kids. The menu didn't mention which dishes were vegetarian, let alone vegan or had a vegan option. Could only remove cheese from a salad dish and waitress mentioned I could get the prawn and crab linguine replaced with vegetables but for the same price which is ridiculous! Ordered the kids mushroom gnocchi with a side of autumn greens as I was told that was dairy free. After 5 minutes waitress came back and advised the gnocchi in fact had cheese in it and they could do linguine instead so I agreed to have mushroom linguine. Food arrived and the pasta dish I received was only tomato with not a mushroom in sight so I tipped the autumnal veges into it which saved the day. The service was also poor and it was tough to get the attention of a waitress to order drinks. Overall the experience was disappointing and I wouldn't go here again. I'd rather go to Odyssey which has better views. To not have at least one great vegan dish on the menu means the chef is either lazy or uninspired and doesn't care about customers dietary requirements. If you're vegetarian or vegan I'd avoid.

Met up with a few business colleagues for coffee, great view great ambience with indoor and outdoor areas to sit and dine. Easy street parking and gorgeous Indian ocean views. Recommended for families
