Araluen Park

We had our family Easter-2021 picnic at the park. Lovely day had amongst the beautiful green grass and trees. Excellent shaded areas. Kids were at the playground but mostly busy playing family cricket.

Its a nice place to bring the family. It is a family favorite park as there isn't many playgroups in Alice Springs. But this park needs some serious park maintenance. It looks old an shabby and needs paint work on most the play eqiupment. It would be good for the local government to update this and make it a priority.

Good outdoor for yoga.. breathe of fresh air.

Lots for kids to do and lovely green area, but most of the equipment is old. The sand isn't great, we always leave feeling sandy and dusty (of course the kids don't mind though!), and a fence separating the playground from the major road would be a huge improvement!
