Voicehouse Vocal Studio

I have to say that I had my worst learning experience here. I paid almost 500 dollars for 10 individual sessions with Marija. In every half hour sessions I attended, she could spend more than 15 minutes in small talking, then provide some simple warm up to recognise the tones, and finally got to sing with the lyrics and teaching techniques in the last 10 minutes (not really useful ones, told me the times to smile/open mouse/breath during the song?! why don’t you just tell me to lift the palate and teach me breathing technique?). I talked with another student then, and she had the same experience with me. I complained to people in the studio, but they did nothing and refuse to refund. I had no choice but stop going to my remaining sessions, because it was totally a waste of time. This happened a few years ago and I still could not help feeling angry when I think back, especially when comparing them with my current singing teacher. This Studio is so commercialized, it charges you even for a introduction of their lessons. It lost the fun and beauty of music and singing. Please find really experienced and loving singing teacher if you love music and don’t waste your money here.nnI have seen your reply, your words looks sincere, but this is not something could be fixed by simple oral apology. Please don’t tell me you have tried your best in teaching and making me happy, because that is not what you have done based on my previous experience. If you have thought it through and really felt sorry, you should make adjustment according to my feedback and provide me refund.

I've been with Voicehouse for just a little over 5 months now and I'm starting to sound less like a drunk karaoke-ist and more like a professional singer. I've gained better understanding and control of pitch, tonality and breath support which has served me well not just in singing but also for public speaking with a more powerful voice which demands attention.

Great vocal coaches, gigs as well, parking sometimes difficult but it is the city.

I have been with Voicehouse over two years. I enjoyed and learnt the new techniques/skills from here which are helpful for my singing! :)
