This little hidden place within in the Da Costa Arcades in Adelaide CBD really is a true treasure that well deserves the title “Jewellery Repair Specialists”. Furthermore it deserves a great compliment on customer service. I walked in with a rather worn down bracelet. Sheree was very accommodating and talked me through every possible option there was for me to get it restored. I left the store in confidence that my bracelet was in good hands and I am absolutely in love with the result. I would definitely recommend this place.

A brilliant, professional jewellery repairer.nI had been told by other jewellers that my intricate antique earrings could not be worked on due to old solder repairs. Any heat would melt the old solder and ruin the intricate gold work. However, Tim uses laser for these type of repairs so no heat. Tim repaired them to perfection and I am finally able to wear them.nTim also restored an antique pair of micromosaic earrings for me. The shepherd hooks had been replaced by screw backs and there was some damage to the gold around one of the earrings, in fact a piece was missing. Tim did a fabulous job returning them to shepherd hooks and completed fixed the damage to the gold. I can no longer even pick where the damage was. They are just gorgeous.nA truly brilliant craftsman. Thank you Tim!

Sheree at Adelaide Jewellery Repair Specialists understood what I was looking for and what suits me so well. She was ready, willing and able to go out of her way to help when my husband had not even half a lunch break to make a decision. 5 stars and then some!

Fantastic service and workmanship to repair a ring that another jeweller said they couldn’t do. Would highly recommend for a honest and personal service.

I would like to share my not that great experience. After reading the good reviews, we decided to get our engagement ring resized by Adelaide Jewellery Repairs. Initially we were quite happy with their service on the day that we took our engagement ring to them. The ladies were quite friendly and still let us in even though we were a couple of minutes late after their shop-close time. However, on the day of picking up my ring, I realised that there are clear traces/dents around the cut/joint area even without a magnifier. So I took the ring back to them and pointed out the traces/dents and asked whether it could be polished or improved. The lady kept saying that she couldn’t see any problem even with a magnifier. After I pointed out the traces/dents around the cut/joint area, she took the ring inside and the guy sitting inside saying quite loudly “I am not going to polish it … this is the best job I can do”. Then I was shocked when he said to me “Are you questioning my work? If you think you can do a better job, come in and do it yourself!”. I don’t understand why he was so angry. I explained to them saying “No...I’m sorry, I am not questioning your work. I just want to check whether it can be improved”. Then he just kept saying “This is the best job that I can do” and complaining “Did you buy the ring from the internet”, “this ring shouldn’t be made like this...”. I understand that getting a ring sized down with 2-3 sizes difference might be difficult, but as a customer, I would expect to hear “I’m sorry, but this is the best job that I can do” instead of “Are you questioning my work? If you think you can do a better job, come in and do it yourself!” if you really value your customer.nn[Update regarding the reply from the owner]nI appreciate the owner’s reply but there is one thing that I want to clarify: During the whole conversation when picking up my ring, I didn’t get any of the explanation or professional opinion of “ The dents that you saw on your ring were from porosity (poor quality gold) of the cast ring that you bought to us for resizing … If we had repolished it, as you suggested, this would have just removed the rhodium plating & not solved the problem” as what the owner said in the reply. The original review that I posted was pretty much all the conversations and what actually happened in the store when I was picking up my ring on that day.
