Cheap meal but tasty as well. Portion larger then other Chinese restaurant. Roast pork here is my favourite.

This place never fails to impress. Authentic Asian food at a reasonable price. Service is typically quick. Noodles take much longer to get served than rice.nThe roast pork and BBQ pork rice is a classic. Salty and crunchy roast pork belly combined with sweet BBQ pork with a sweet savoury sticky glaze on a bed of fresh white rice. Served with pickled vegetables and self-serve sambal. This hits the spot for me everytime.nThey've recently started serving bain-marie style dishes as well. 3 or 4 dishes of your choosing with fried rice or noodles. Great value for money.

Whenever I crave Malaysian/Singaporean food I visit Tai Son. No frill but always and genuinely great food & value. Clean premises, and the owner works and serve with the staffs. The portions are reasonably satisfying pleasant professional services. The fresh green chilly and the fresh red chilly source is to die for. I can’t have enough from this eatery - totally recommend ud83dudc4d ud83dude4f

Tried the BBQ + Roast Pork with flat noodles, bbq pork was excellent and roast pork was okay, great crispy skin but the meat was a little dry. Noodles were overcooked and very soft, and the sauce it comes in is very light so all the flavour is in the pork.n5 stars for the self serve condiments - delicious sambal, fresh red chilli sauce for chicken rice, and lovely crunchy pickled green peppers! You can get a generous serving of chicken rice (just the rice) for $2, highly recommend having that with the free condiments. Other reviews mentioned a complimentary soup, we didn't see anyone with a soup so probably discontinued.
