Golden Mongkok Chinese Restaurant

My favourite yum cha place. My boyfriend and I had our first date here, and still come here weekly to fortnightly 3 years later. Good food fuels a good relationship! Even after the name change and a chef change I believe this place is still top of our list. Food is well priced, setting you back about $25 per head. Great for small and intimate meals or big group gatherings. Thanks crew! See you soon ♡♡♡

Went there for dinner. Good food. Very large helpings. The place is spacious and a good place for kids. The prices were also pretty good.nnDishes ordered were:nBeef Ho FunnFried Battered Fish EntrenTwin Egg Yolk SpinachnRoast Pork. Probably the best of the dishes

Been coming here recently for the good dim sum but won't be anymore.nAfter ordering 4 takeaway dishes, I added up the total based on the menu. Lady at counter (maybe the owner?) gave a higher total so I asked if she was sure as my math is quite reliable. She got annoyed and started looking for excuses before telling me squid tentacles went up this week. How convenient aye! After getting the explanation I was fine with it and paid but as she was putting the cash into the til, she gave me the dirtiest looks I've ever seen. I felt like I'd just run over her dog or something. After that I just lost my appetite and asked for my money back.nSuch a shame as I really enjoyed going to this place and recommending it to mates and family. I will now stick to my other regular, Golden Leaf in Morley. Yeah it's further but at least it's on the same level as the top Northbridge dim sum restaurants and most importantly I'll never have to see her face again.nRude lady needs to get off her high horse!

Great dim-sum restaurant for lunch and traditional Chinese food for dinner. A bit different from normal dim sum places as there is only one small trolley that does the rounds and the rest of the dishes you order (freshly cooked) from a menu. Deep fried squid legs are to die for.nnMisses out on 5 stars only because their supply of delicious mango pudding is kind of random - sometimes they have it, sometimes they don't. THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR MANGO PUDDING!!!
