Black & White Cabs

A wonderful driver ( number 815) spent much of his valuable time helping my elderly mother when she misplaced her house keys. He kept her calm and cool and asked her for a family member phone number and advised me of her dilemma. Well done David.

We always choose Black and white - efficient and always on time. The drivers are always so pleasant and always have a good chat.

Multiple times now I’ve approached a taxi rank in the hope to catch a black and white cab and the drivers have been incredibly rude, they ask where I’m going and if they aren’t happy with my answer they wind the window up, drive away etc - what is the point of offering a taxi service if they won’t take paying passengers, it makes absolutely no sense. We try and support local taxi services in the world of Uber / ride share and a global pandemic and they continue to alienate potential clients - never again. The drivers need further training and management need to pay them a base hourly wage to allow them to be able to offer rides to all potential clients, not just the ones going an excessive distance.

Had a driver start swearing and gesturing at another driver while on the way home. Surely if you drive for a living you should be able to maintain enough professionalism to not road rage with a customer inside.
