Conrad’s sermon was on achieving lifestyle goals through striving in order to receive the goal - which is the reward in Heaven. Your desire should be for Heaven. No mention of Christ being our desire or reward. No mention of looking to Jesus or to the Holy Spirit for empowerment. Worldly texts were quoted, as examples of how to reach your goals. They believe in empowerment or perhaps inspiration by being in the company of capable people. (not 'couch potatoes') They believe they are saved only if they speak in tongues. On the way out two people from two different directions came out to 'bail me up'.
