Southport Library

Southport Library is one of my favourite branches on the Gold Coast. It's a very welcoming, bright space with great interior design, much better than it previously was. It has an impressive selection of physical books as well as great online/e-collection. Very knowledge, friendly staff that make my visit a pleasure. A very vital community resource.

Without doubt a place of curiosity friendship and above all excellence in knowledge resources, as well as the most splendid DVD collection; and of course that music collection stirred with such a brilliant outreach. The staff are truly genuine people who care about each borrower eliminating any demarcation with their respectfulness . The joy is the visit as their is a conversation a laugh and a sincere concern. As for the security they blend in to the culture of the place making it a well rounded culture. I thank you all for the multitude of help and smiles.

A large and well equipped library. Facilities are a bit limited due to the corona virus pandemic but limited seating available. Some desktop computers. A cafe, clean toilets and helpful staff. Great selection of books and magazines. Not much street parking so best to visit by foot or you can park in the library car park at the rear which costs.

Such a brilliant atmosphere. Quiet, productive and calming space to get work done.

Use to study here all the time, all the librarians are real polite, friendly and great kissers! (be sure to linger in the toilets...) I'm definitely not Takeshi, I've never met the guy, but my guess is he is really handsome and probably also a good kisser. Will come back, I always leave satisfied and full of "knowledge"
