Golden Ponds

Brought the dogs here on their first caravan trip. The toilets and showers were really clean. Not too busy for the school holidays, even though they ofter dam fishing and supa golf. It's layout of van sites is really different. Suits buses and large vans.

Attended a friends 85th birthday celebrations at Golden Ponds yesterday 4th June. The food was delicious, piping hot generous servings. Could not find fault with anything. Prices were very reasonable. Looking forward to many more visit

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff.nPlease just be aware of their pony that wanders around. Getting a bit old and grumpy...my daughter (adult) was patting it when it just turned on her with 3 almighty kicks.

I had high expectations of catching and releasing so many fish. Only to leave after 2 hours, trying a few different ponds and not even getting a bite. The kids had a bit of fun practising their skills. It would be better if they had more info at each pond about what species were in there, expected quantities. I think they need a little map to hand out showing where each pond is, access points and toilet location. I even drove past the main store initially wondering where to buy fishing passes.

Excellent lunch at Golden ponds today. The food was perfect and large serves at very good price. Will definitely return.
