Authentic Bites Dumpling House

The Xiao Long Bao is fantastic. Must recommended!!!

The portion is big, the taste is light for me. There is some hair on the pork belly and the meat is dry. The dumplings are a bit hard to bite.

I've been a few times and I've always thought it was one of the best dumpling places in Perth. I ordered the wontons with spicy sauce and the shu mai. I'm not sure what happened? The wontons with spicy sauce was served cold, but the shu mai was piping hot? I know their business is booming but they cannot serve cold food. Which was a huge let down in the flavour of the dish. The service was really quick and to be honest I wouldn't have minded waiting for my food to be cooked fresh. With so many other places to eat at, they need to step it up a bit.

The bum and soy milk I had were pretty good. Will try the dumplings next time
