Having been staying in Albany for 3 months for work, I can say this is my most frequented joint by far!nNot much to look at from outside but don't let looks deceive you.nTo be fair I only had the prawn and vegetarian Fried rice regularly but it is delicious, addictive and I keep going back for more.nThank you for being such a great restaurant, speedy and quality everytime. Also it is handy you are always open when other shops are closed.nnPrices are very reasonable. 5 stars from me and my partner.

If you don't compare their food against Asian Restauarant, it’s probably ok.nThis shop is selling South East Asian food. I live in South East Asia, so I know the food in this part of the planet pretty well. I noticed their mainland Chinese accent while the waiter and chef were talking to each other. I asked the waiter if their Char Kueh Teow was Penang or Singaporean style, he said he doesn’t know. Whichever style, they shouldn’t have Roast Pork in it, so this wasn’t a good sign, they probably don’t even know what the original dish should taste like. We also noticed for every dish whether it’s Laksa, Char Kueh Teow, Pad Thai…etc..they all had the same ingredients i.e shredded carrots, cabbage, fishcakes, crabsticks…etc…another bad sign.nnTheir Char Siew isn't real roast Char Siew, it’s just boiled pork dipped in some red food colouring – cutting corners.nnAs we travelled a long way to this area, we’ll give them a chance. The Wanton Noodle Soup was terrible. When it was served up, it looks nothing like my usual Wanton Noodle Soup. The broth was gray instead of clear broth, it was topped with shredded carrots, cabbage, broccoli…etc except Choy Sum and Spring Onions! Their homemade wantons have got a weird taste, and the broth tastes very sweet as if lots of sugar was added to it. Same goes for their Laksa, sweet laksa soup, shredded carrots, cabbage, broccoli…No where near the authentic South East Asia laksa!nnTheir South East Asia menu was a wrong representation of SEA cuisine, they are not authentic at all. Why don’t they just cook their own China food where they come from, instead of trying to cook South East Asian cuisine which they are not familiar with them. Maybe they thought near enough is good enough, it doesn’t have to be authentic! We won’t go there again, it’s vile! It deserves Zero Star!
