Bakers Food and Fuel

This is one of very few places where not only are the staff so friendly and pleasant, but also so obliging. Add to that the best chips anywhere, and a wide range of excellent food and that's still only a part of it. have a dive into the fridge for the best lamb and pork and beef you can buy and THE best cheese kransky, Beer Sticks and smoked ham hocks. And as for the Christmas hams.... the best you can buy. Always well worth a visit: one of our favourite places with some of our favourite people.

I can't recommend Bakers highly enough. Last year I was getting fuel there, and the rain was coming in horizontal and Ray ran out and offered me the jacket off his own back to stay dry. Small act of kindness that is as rare as hens teeth these days. I'll go out of my way to support them for life because of that one simple thing - the business is great (their bacon and egg wraps are epic) but the people are better
