Highway Burger

My partner and I agree it is the best burger place in Perth. Chips are tasty with a delicious sauce supplied and are a good proper serving. Burgers are big and tasty, spoiled us for other places. Love the interior design as well. Can not recommend this place enough!

Cosy place for some fantastic burgers. Huge servings of chips. Chicken patty is juicy inside and crunchy outside. Beef & bacon burger is always a winner. Bring your appetite - the servings are generous.

Highway burger is a great burger joint. The staff were kind and they also provided a fast service. The burgers were tasty although they could have been presented better. Some unlisted ingredients also appeared in my burger. The chips were great and were quite well priced. They had quite a few canned beer choices and even had beers on tap.

Burger’s are delicious, chips less so and cold in our case. I just really like the fries at hood burgers. Front staff not really paying attention.

Well, that was a total letdown.. I got tricked by the online photos. Their food photos look amazing so thought we were in for a treat. I ordered the roadrunner burger and my partner the classic cheese burger, plus a side of chips for 2 as takeaway for dinner. Both burgers were totally bland and dry, the bun was not brioche-like and not that fresh/soft at all. It also didn’t come with any napkins, nor sauces (come on..). They were just the kind of burgers that you think “I can make much better at home”. I really wonder about all the positive reviews. I just had a burger for lunch at Short Order today, which is a world of difference so I can make an accurate mental comparison. Shame, I live around the corner from Highway Burger but I will most definitely cross this place off my list. Not giving one star because the lady taking the order on the phone was efficient and friendly, the wait time was accurate and the chips were good.
