I highly recommend Dr Tan as a GP. I saw him today and he is prompt, professional and he listens. It wasn't just in and out with him and he took the time to listen to my issues, check my obs and then offer advice. He's an asset to Herald Avenue Family Practice. This family practice is a little gem. Dr Spurge is old school, straight to the point and well mannered. With all of these qualities he has become my new family doctor.

Have been here a few times to see different GPs, and the common issue is that they're always running around 30 min late, even if I call before coming in, they say they're on time. I once tried an appointment at 8.30am and they still managed to be almost 10min late to see me then as well. I'm trying to fit the a around my work and the extra wasted time is not appreciated. The quality of diagnosis is ok. They're not really asking allot of follow up questions, so for something like my knee pain, I was prescribed allot of exercises and medication that actually made it worse. I had to go to a specialist for proper help, they didn't refer.
