Sent message chasing cheap accommodation options but got no reply at all.
Brilliant tavern with amazing cocktails and a ranging menu. Plenty of local beers, wines and a good selection of spirit's. 2 open fire places and some plush seating.
Large with a high capacity, pool, darts and free WiFi.
The service is very attentive and personal.
Large beer garden and children's play area.
We went to the tavern for dinner and the ribs were nice with fried rice and slaw. My wife ordered the pasta with chicken, bacon and mushroom in a creamy sauce, it was flavourless. After 2 mouthfuls we did not eat any more. The fish and chips (fish - golden banded snapper) was not great either. The chips and salad were nice.
Well what can I say, managed to grab a table for dinner on Sunday night. Steak, with the option of NOT with chips 😁. Cooked to perfection.
Great selection of local craft beers too.
I just had dinner here and am very impressed. The meals are good. Size of meals is typical country size (large). They have an extensive wine list for a tavern. The young ladies that work there were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this place for dinner. Tip, book a table as the place is popular.
