Beautiful beach to visit. The dog beach section has steep stairs so if your dog isn't a fan of stairs access might be difficult. Plenty of parking but the toilets aren't pleasant. It's not a calm beach but still good for a swim, surf or fish. Nice piece of our coastline, definately worth stopping by.
A hidden gem. Whether swimming, fishing, surfing, taking the dogs for a run/swim, walking/cycling one of the trails, getting bare on the little nude beach or just admiring the joint, worth a visit for a soul revival and a reminder we live in one of the best places on earth. A location like this on the east coast or anywhere else in the world would be crawling with people.
Be sure to take water with you as there is no showers or taps, only a simple toilet setup for those desperate (or hiking). Bitumen road all the way in unless you turn off the main highway then there is a short distance of well maintained gravel.
Love walking the dog here. Fabulous views. A must see.
