Very good railway station for this area

Often the train is late on both ends although equally as often it can be early. Pricing is fairly good if you have a student card, seniors card etc. On board they have decent food and movies to watch on some tiny screens. (Headphones are provided in your seats) If you're headed to Perth from Kalgoorlie or visa versa this is a good option.

The Prospector train usually gets here a bit late, but the station is quite nice with an Esperance coach service and the Indian Pacific stopping here. It has a booking centre for tickets and information. For train enthusiasts, it has a lot of information about the Trans-Australian Railway as well. It's very close to the Quality Inn Railway Motel and the city centre.
