Dr Andrew Savery

I have been seeing Dr Savery since my son was diagnosed at 2 years old, and while he is good at what he does... His receptionist needs a hard lesson in talking to people! I just rang to reschedule (which i have had to do a couple of times now.. because its a big expense for families, but we do our best) I have seven children and tried explaining that I couldn't afford it this week... and she asked me if I could get my medications else where which obviously a gp can do... and she told me fine we don't need to see you anymore, just go to your gp, and was the rudest woman I have ever spoken too! when I went on to explain my situation she hung up on me! How are people so rude? literally finding another pediatrician now purely based on his rude af receptionist! you are dealing with families who struggle already... have some compassion? or find another job. Ill be taking this further. Absolutely disgusting.

Have been unsuccessful in reaching this practice recently. My child needs her review urgently. Does anyone know if they are closed? I’ve tried by phone and email every week for at least 4 weeks. Thanks

A very busy but popular practice for a reason. I have found the Savery team to be very accommodating as long as I am organised and booked in advance. They can only physically take on so many patients so I fully understand why last minute changes are almost impossible. Andrew is great with my son and he’s helped us immensely. Good Doctor and friendly reception.. oh and the play area is a kids paradise!!

As far as specialist go he’s pretty good. Not great- good. I’ll be looking for a new specialist for my son though because this Doctors time away in other regions of WA makes it impossible for my own schedule to make appointments. My son isn’t getting his needs met- it’s really that simple.

Dr Savery is always kind and courteous. He patiently worked with my child, and has helped us through many challenging years - 9 of them so far. Highly recommended
