I was recently diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. At my first appointment with Dr Sofield he explained very clearly what the operation would entail and what life post-op would be like. He performed my radical prostatectomy with the aid of the da Vinci robot. The next morning I was up and about with minimal pain. Dr Sofield visited me twice to check up on my progress and recommended my discharge from hospital after two days. I went home only needing paracetamol for painkilling. His staff have contacted me to check on my healing process and were very professional and caring when removing my catheter. On my 6 week visit Dr Sofield informed me that my PSA was "zero" and discussed sexual function with me and prescribed Viagra type medication. I would highly recommend Dr Sofield and his team to anyone diagnosed with prostate cancer.
