What a lovely and beautiful Zoo. I think this is the best Zoo I have ever been. Animals look healthy, very well take care of and have so much space. Great facilities. Shuttle bus services are on time and volunteers are wonderful and friendly people. Good job everyone. I have complained about business in SA but now I know there is nice people doing a beautiful job out there. 👏👏💙💙😍
A great place to visit for any age. Buses to drive you through the animal enclosures with 3 drop off and pick up points along the way, a great Visitor centre and Cafe, or take a picnic lunch. The Keepers and Volunteer Guides are very friendly, helpful, and love to share their vast knowledge of the animals. Go early, and spend the whole day, you won't regret it. I will certainly go again. Loved it. 🐒🦒👍😊
A great place to take the family!! Love the Safari bus - it takes you around the outdoor area and tour guide was excellent. Large range of animals in natural. You can also walk around the other areas of the park and there is a picnic area and kids playground. It was a great experience!
Highly recommend for a family day out.
Just a great place to be. It keeps getting better and better.
Ran by volunteers that run it with care and enthusiasm. Well looked after lands and animals. We've been going for years now and will continue to do so, to support the good work being done.
Good fun for the whole family at Monarto Safari Park.
Highly recommend booking in early for any of the animal experiences as they fill up quickly. Though they are a bit pricey, they're totally worth doing. We did the Lion and Giraffe experiences which were the absolute highlight of our trip. We loved seeing the giraffe's blue tongue up close as it curled around the carrot!
Another insider tip is to catch the last zoo loop tour bus of the day. The keepers are usually feeding the animals so they're a bit more active than they would be in the middle of the day.
Plenty of room for kids to run around and discover things here. A large playground available too. I suggest bringing your own lunch to enjoy at one of the shaded picnic tables. Also, bring sunscreen and a bottle of water!
