John Ide represented me at Beenleigh magistrates court. From the beginning he shared information with prosecutors. I had to pay up front and we agreed this would go to trial. I paid for a proper defence. The day before the hearing John comes to me and says 'the prosecution know about these things...' the only way they could have known is if John told them. He said he'd already made deal where I had to plead guilty and get a massive fine. If I didn't plead guilty I would go to jail. That's just how the courts in Queensland operate. Secret deals, information sharing and the general public loses.
